Melanie delights in the living edge of the landscape that is right at her feet or above her head in a puff of birds. She feels the heartbeat of nature in her own and seeks to convey this precious sense of belonging in her beautiful paintings of the Cornish coast and countryside where she lives and works.
Melanie grew up in Scotland before doing her MA at Chelsea College of Art and has paintings in collections across the UK and abroad.
