Sarah Chalmers went to Chelsea Art School and then Hornsey College of Art. She was born in 1957 and has shown in London many times. Always painting landscape, she would describe herself as a nomadic, having painted and lived under the stars in the Australian outback. Painted in the Sahara desert, and been out in the North Sea on an oil-rig. She mainly paints the British landscape and says she paints for the whole experience, some things just don't have words, but it is like a gift from nature when the work comes.
