Bronwen Coe

Bronwen’s background is in music and plants. She moved to the West Country in the ’90’s where she trained and practised homeopathy - combining a complimentary trio of plants, painting and people!

She is an inveterate gardener and plantswoman, and for more than three decades has painted, photographed and written. Her work as been widely exhibited in the South of England. 

The images in the exhibition have been painstakingly constructed through a process of scanning, and have been selected from a large and diverse body of work that she has been refining over the last few years. The original inspirations came from 17th. century Dutch flower paintings and early herbal charts. 

But of course at the back of these sources is simply her absolute passion for genius flowers!
