Richard Hoare

Richard moved to Cyprus after he had finished his Degree in Fine Art from Kent, there he did a Post Graduate Diploma at the College of Art. He has had many Group and Solo Exhibitions in Edinburgh, London and Truro in Cornwall. He is the Artist in Residence at Woburn Abbey and he is in private collections throughout the world. He has public collections at the Wiltshire County Council and at the C.Hoare & Co. Bank in London.  He is a vocational painter working in the landscape.  He is attracted by several specific sites on Mull and South Cornwall, he returns again and again to the same subject, deepening his awareness of the subtlety of Light.
