Louise Waugh

Louise Waugh has been a painter and printmaker all her life. Her work has been exhibited throughout the UK and also in America, Spain, Italy and Ireland as well as appearing over the years in the R.A. Summer Exhibition.

She has now based herself in a rural studio in West Somerset, painting primarily in oil and acrylic. She likes  to be out whatever the weather, with her sketchbook or with her easel painting en plein air because for her the whole experience informs the painting. She will then return to the studio to go beyond the subject with her memories and imagination.
