Nicholas Turner

Nicholas’ (RWA) work, studies of form, composition, colour and space relationships, are reflected through transient images of coastal, rural and townscapes, still life and nature. He works in oil, on canvas or board, repeating and reworking images and themes, until the required dialogue emerges, producing a reflective, quiet representation.

Born in London in 1972, Turner now lives and works near Abergavenny, Monmouthshire exhibiting both internationally and in the UK. After completing his Foundation in Art and Design, Nicholas went on to graduate from the UWE in Fine Art in 1997. In 2003 he became an elected Academician of the Royal West of England Academy. Turner often exhibits in London and the home counties and at the major London Art Fairs such as LAPADA and BADA. His work is represented in the RWA permanent collection, The Royal Collection and Talbuoys Bequest as well as in numerous private collections across the globe.
