Nel studied 3D Design at Chelsea Art School. She worked for 3 years designing furniture in Paris, and then took up ceramics in 1995, training at The City Lit. in London and completing their Diploma course in 2000. The pots she makes explore characterful, bold forms using softly thrown clay. They are made quickly and loosely to allow the moment of making to be tangible in the finished piece.
