Jemima is a painter from the New Forest. Born into a large artistic family and inspired by the art and ceramics around, she started painting at a young age. Jemima went on to study Russian at the University of Bristol and had a particular interest in historical and cultural movements. She spent a year in St Petersburg where she took a term at Repin Institute of Arts. Jemima then went on to complete a conservatory training at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. Since returning to London she has started her own theatre company. She has always worked closely with her set designers and graphic designers as a creative director in all of her productions. During lockdown Jemima was able to dedicate more time to her true love, painting. Inspired by Fauvism, she creates and reimagines nature.
