Honor Jolliffe was born in 1965 and grew up in Canada. She moved to the UK at the age of 17 and did a Foundation in Art and Design at Falmouth School of Art. After leaving the art world for a career in international human rights work, she picked up a paint brush in 2009 and has been painting in oils ever since. She has studied life drawing with Saied Dai and Charlotte Sorapure for over seven years. She loves form, colour and pattern-making and the small, quiet conversations that can be found in still lives and interiors. She also enjoys painting people and is happy to take commissions.
