Elizabeth Rollins Scott

Since childhood Elizabeth has had a fascination with the esoteric and spiritual elements of life that has been based upon her profound personal experiences with auras and energies.  Her inspiration has also been drawn from both the primitive forms of antiquity, mysticism as well as the religious sculptures and art forms of both the Gothic, Medieval and Renaissance periods.

Her body of work is approached from a multi-disciplinary perspective, which allows techniques to cross boundaries and which adds complexity and texture to all her work.  The current collection of angelic and mystical works have been developed from complex surfaces inspired by her love of Egyptian and Coptic textiles and explored through the medium of sculpture, print and painting, that is evidenced by both the complex application of layers and detailed markings and patterns.

Elizabeth's works appear is private collections in the UK, Canada, Switzerland, and America as well as featuring in public collections including The Bermudian Government.
