She lives and paint in the West Country. She was trained at Heatherley’s Fine Art school in London almost 20 years ago. Before that, she was in the creative side of advertising in some of the top agencies in London. It meant that her visual antennae were much more about targeting the consumer. When she left advertising, art filled the vacuum. And she moved to Provence, the hub of the Impressionists. Exhibitions there and in other parts of France gave her the confidence to continue. And now, she exhibited locally here and sell very well. Recently, she has had a joint exhibition with a photographer, and our subject was Trees. Interesting to compare and contrast our vision and why a subject would work in each medium. She enjoys still life, she loves landscapes, and she does not get stuck in any one formula.
